Season 2 of Vicious continues to follow the loving yet brutally barbed relationship between Freddie Thornhill (Ian McKellen) and Stuart Bixby (Derek Jacobi). Together for fifty years, Freddie and Stuart still live in the same flat and are surrounded by their long-term friends: Violet (Frances de la Tour) is recently married and still as feisty as ever; Ash (Iwan Rheon), their attractive, young neighbor, now has a new girlfriend although that doesn't deter Violet from showering him with inappropriate affection; Penelope (Marcia Warren) is as dotty as ever and Mason (Philip Voss) has somehow become even more acerbic.
